Mooi Espresso – Mitcham, SA

Kiosk 52 Mitcham Square, 119 Belair Road, Mitcham, SA, 5062

I have had a few coffees here over the years – most often before heading up to the cinema, so I thought it about time that a review was done. Located in an ‘open space’ within the trendy ‘Mitcham Square‘ shopping centre, Mooi is a kiosk based café that does all your café style foods and beverages – an offers a loyalty program to boot!  Aesthetically it is very similar to a Cibos – which is most likely a positive reflection upon that chain of coffee shops.

Latte Quality – Good – certainly wasn’t a bad coffee, but likewise didn’t knock my socks off.

Cost – $4.10 for a medium – which is expensive

Coffee Supplier – Unknown.

Fair Trade – No.

Venue Suitable for:

  • Quiet Chat – Yes, the tables are far enough apart to allow for this – and while it is in the centre of a shopping centre, I have never seen Mitcham Square that busy.
  • Deep and Meaningful – again, Yes – see above.
  • Study and Reflection – I do not see why not.  Probably best to avoid the lunch time crowds, but it would be a good spot to grab a coffee, a table and a good book.
